smdp designed the Hangwei Hi-Tech Software New City Project to promote the growth of the technology company in Xi’an and the firm’s future within the city’s Software District. The separate features of the building – the tower, sunken courtyard, and open plaza – are distinct but cohesive. The fluid connection between all aspects of the project parallels the intertwined relationship of the building, its users, and its surroundings.
